How do I clear my browsing history on Android?

In Chrome, tap the three dots at the top right, then Delete browsing data. Choose how far back to go (All time removes everything), make sure Browsing history is ticked, and tap Delete data. Samsung Internet has the same option under Settings, then Personal browsing data. Your Google searches are saved separately in your Google Account.
Steps to check
Clear history in Chrome
Open Chrome. Tap More (the three dots at the top right, next to the address bar), then tap Delete browsing data. Choose a time range. To remove everything, pick All time. Make sure Browsing history is ticked. To choose exactly what goes, tap More options and untick anything you want to keep, such as Saved passwords. Then tap Delete data.
Clear history in Samsung Internet
Open Samsung Internet. Tap the menu (three lines or three dots at the bottom right), then Settings. Tap Personal browsing data, then Delete browsing data. Tick Browsing history, untick anything you want to keep, then tap Delete data and tap Delete to confirm.
Remove just one page in Chrome
If you only want one site gone, open Chrome, tap More, then History. If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on it first. Find the page and tap Remove (the X) next to it. To remove several, touch and hold one entry, tap the others, then tap Remove at the top right.
Clear your Google search history
Searches you make with Google can be saved in your Google Account, not only in the browser. Open the Google app, tap your profile picture at the top right, then Search history. Tap Delete, then choose Delete all time, Delete custom range, or a single day. You can also turn on Auto-delete here so older searches are removed every 3, 18 or 36 months.
Browse privately next time
If you do not want a page saved at all, use a private tab. In Chrome, tap More, then New Incognito tab. Pages you visit there are not kept in your history once you close the tab.
Normal vs. not
Usually normal

Worth a closer look
History you deleted coming back on this phone. If you are signed in to Chrome on another device, history synced there can show up again. Clear it on that device too, or check that the other device is online so the change can sync.
