ODIN Cannot Open the USB Port when Updating Galaxy Ace to 2.3.4 Gingerbread

I was trying to upgrade to android 2.2.1 to 2.3.4 through odin but while updating it not completing the task and shows “cannot open the usb port” in the odin message so, please help in sorting out this problem
