Hi ,
I attempted a software upgrade on my LG GT540 from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 via the LG website .
It progressed to 4% and then crashed leaving the phone with a blue screen and displaying “Emergency Mode”.
The PC would not recognize the Phone anymore so by all accounts it would appear dead!!
Would you be able to suggest a course of action to remedy this problem.
Actually it is a disaster,it’s a new phone and I wish I had not attempted the upgrade.
I did contact LG and I am awaiting a response.
Hopefully I have not wrecked the phone completely.Your advise would be appreciated.
